Gala Performance
Gala is just around the corner and the skaters will be working hard to get ready for it. It will be held on Saturday April 26th from 9:00 to noon. After we will be having a potluck and Awards ceremony for all the skaters and their family and friends. We hope the children will be attending all the classes to get them ready for the Gala. Mark the date on your calendar. Specific details will be released at a later date.
Annual General Meeting
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Friday March 28th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the room beside the viewing area. As this involves all skaters, please plan to attend.
Changes to ice times and dates
There is much news about changes in times and dates for ice for March and April so check the calendar for all the changes. March 26th, 2008 will be our last Wednesday off-ice class. There will also be no more day ice on Thursdays effective April 1st, 2008.
Fundraising
The Mundare Ham Sausage will be ready for pick up on March 17th, 2008.
Just a reminder that there is chocolate money and registration money still outstanding. Anyone needing to hand in chocolate or registration money, please do so at the office. Those who have not received their mandatory chocolates, please pick them up at the office on Mondays or Fridays.
Competitions & Summer School
The United Cycle Sunsational, the third and final competition of the season will be held on May 2nd to 4th, 2008 at the Callingwood Arena. Many of our skaters will be participating. Good luck to all skaters!!! A schedule of events will be available soon.
We will be holding a summer school from August 6th to 22nd. Final details will be announced at a later date.
There will be no ice on Saturday March 15th, Friday March 21st, and Monday March 31st to Saturday April 5th for Spring break as noted on the March and April calendars.
