Fundraising is critical to the ongoing success of Centennial Figure Skating Club. Fundraising helps cover the cost of a variety of CFSC activities, including professional coaching and ice time.
Our fundraising efforts includes both mandatory and optional components. Each club member is required to complete the mandatory fundraising as part of their program registration, while the optional fundraising supports the club and provides opportunities to club members to earn credits for registration and equipment.
Centennial Figure Skating Club's 2009/2010 mandatory fundraising requirements are currently being revised.
In 2009/2010 CanSkate has NO fundraising requirement.
The CFSC has joined with four other Edmonton-area skating clubs to form the United Figure Skaters Association (UFSA). UFSA is providing volunteers to staff concessions during events at Rexall Place.
The money raised during these events is available to skaters to help pay for the many costs of skating. The monies earned will go into a trust account in the name of the skater. In order to withdraw the money, you must have a receipt for registration fees, skates, skating attire, skate sharpening, etc.
